Dr. Bakari Chaka
Dr. Bakari Chaka is the Founder and Executive Director of BioAfri Solutions. He holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Chemistry, all from Maasai Mara University, where he developed a strong foundation in research, innovation, and sustainable solutions. With a passion for science-driven impact, Dr. Chaka established BioAfri Solns to bridge the gap between research and practical environmental solutions. His leadership focuses on promoting eco-friendly technologies, sustainable products, and community-centered initiatives that address pressing environmental challenges. As a visionary scientist and entrepreneur, Dr. Chaka is committed to advancing sustainable development in Africa and beyond, inspiring change through innovation, knowledge, and action.
Mr. Marjan Abdallah
Mr. Marjan has over 5 years experience dealing with biogas and septic tanks products at a R&D and industrial capacity. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in Chemistry at Maasai Mara University. Most of Mr. Marjan’s researches are based on technical design and processes of various biofuel energies from waste biomass. He has engaged in two research collaborative projects. He has published more than 5 research articles in Chemistry and related fields and one mini-review amongst other scholarly works. He has attended and presented in numerous scientific conferences. He is registered with several professional bodies in his field. He is a dynamic researcher that fits well in multi-disciplinary researches.
Dr. Aloys Osano
Dr. Osano is the current Director of Research and Innovation at Maasai Mara University, Kenya. He is also a senior lecturer of chemistry in the science faculty of the institution. He has specialized in renewable energy with a wide spectrum of knowledge on various forms of pure and applied science as well as social science aspects of renewable energy. He is an avid admirer of indigenous science and their conservatism. Most of his research items are based on biomass conversion technologies and indigenous products and their infusion to modern day science and applications. He has collaborated in several multidisciplinary researches nationally and internationally. He has co-authored in a book chapter and over 40 research articles and reviews with several peer reviewed publishers, 5 teaching and practical modules, patented 15 innovations, attended over 100 national and international conferences, seminars and workshops and developed several research policies and strategic planning documents and supervised over 25 under-graduate and post-graduate students. He is registered with several professional bodies in his field. He is one of the few scientists in the region to receive an invitation for Nobel Laurette prizes.
Ms. Stacy Gacambi
Ms. Stacy Gacambi is an environmentalist with a strong background in education and sustainability. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Arts), specializing in Mathematics and Geography, from Maasai Mara University, Kenya. With a deep passion for environmental conservation and sustainable development, Stacy combines academic knowledge with practical solutions to promote eco-friendly practices. As the Marketing and Sales Lead at BioAfri Solns, she plays a key role in driving the company’s vision of offering innovative, sustainable products and services that support a greener future. Stacy is dedicated to raising awareness, building meaningful partnerships, and inspiring communities to take action towards environmental responsibility.
Ms. Ruth Ngotho
Ms. Ruth Ngotho is the Production Lead at BioAfri Solutions. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Maasai Mara University and is passionate about problem-solving and sustainability. In her role, she supports the coordination and management of production activities that contribute to environmental conservation and community development. Ruth values teamwork, continuous learning, and practical solutions that make a positive difference. Her commitment to efficiency and collaboration helps advance BioAfri’s mission of promoting sustainable and responsible practices.
